Very busy place, However very worth it. Flat iron steak on potato hash was as perfect a meal as one could ask for. Steak perfectly done, tender and flavorful. Potatoes and onions are the perfect complement. In my opinion this is actually underpriced meal. One of the best I have ever had.
Found this out of the way gem of a restaurant which was worth the effort to locate. Our server Jorge was a chatterbox offering Louisiana jokes. He was a great server and made our visit very enjoyable.
Absolutely amazing. I usually don’t order steak in a restaurant because it’s so overpriced for what you get. This was underpriced. One of the best beef experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The sauces were incredible. The roasted potatoes were perfect. And the steak was high-quality, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Kind of wish I lived in Beaumont now. I think this would be a weekly thing for me.
Excellent food and service. Cobe my server gave me a great recommendation of the Redfish Tacos and the food came out fairly quickly. No issues. Update: I came back and the new Blackened Redfish special was great but the Icebox Lemon Custard pie is positively delicious and I highly recommend it.
Everything about the experience was top tier!!! From the hostess at the door showing my children a card magic trick and the waiter being so polite and attentive to All of our needs, to the food (appetizer, entrees and dessert) being a culinary delight! I would 10/10 recommend this quaint restaurant to everyone, locals and those just passing through!
Great restaurant in Beaumont, TX!! We were in town and looking for a great local spot. My rep suggested that we go to JWilson's for dinner. We sat at the bar. The two bartenders were super friendly and personable. They made great suggestions for appetizers and entrée. We started with the Boudin Balls and Deviled Eggs that were topped off with Pork Belly Bunt Ends they call "Man Candy" The habanero jelly served with the Boudin Balls was dynamite!! For entrées, we ordered a Flat Iron Steak, Shrimp and Grits, and the Stuffed Chicken. Everything was awesome. We'll definitely be back during our next visit to Beaumont.
Outstanding!! Today was our first time experiencing the wonderful and spectacular restaurant JWilson's.. Everything was top of the line, service, food,hospitality and the atmosphere. Very cool Brunch spot. Lots of unique items on the menu along with some usual suspects. Man candy was AMAZING! Waffles with BRISKET?!? One of the most unique biscuits and gravy EVER! DELICIOUS!!! Can’t go wrong whatever you pick!
